Effective Date: April 27, 2026 Application: Video Upscale
This Privacy Policy explains how Video Upscale (¡°we¡±, ¡°us¡±, or ¡°the App¡±) collects, uses, stores, and protects user information when you use our AI video upscale, frame interpolation, and video enhancement services. This policy applies to all users of the application.
By using Video Upscale, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Video Upscale is a no-login application. We do not collect user account information, identity information, or personal sensitive data.
During your use of the service, we may temporarily collect the following information to provide video enhancement functions:
· Uploaded video files initiated by users
· Anonymous device information and basic operation logs
We will not actively collect facial information, location data, or any other private sensitive information.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
All uploaded video files are only used to provide you with proprietary self-hosted AI video processing services, including video frame interpolation, FPS boosting, 2K/4K super-resolution upscaling, and video quality optimization.
All AI computation and video enhancement operations run exclusively on our self-managed backend servers fully controlled by our company. We never send or forward your uploaded video content to any third-party AI service providers for processing.
We will not use your video content for advertising, commercial promotion, training AI models, or any other unauthorized purposes.
User video files are temporarily stored in our company-owned Amazon AWS S3 storage buckets solely for processing needs. Amazon only provides basic underlying storage infrastructure; Amazon cannot view, analyze, edit, or run any AI processing on your uploaded videos, and does not own any rights to your video content. Our team holds full access control over all S3 storage resources, and all file transmission adopts end-to-end encryption.
All user uploaded videos and processed video files stored on our AWS S3 server will be automatically deleted within 6 months after processing. We do not reserve user video data for a long time.
All video files saved on your mobile device are stored locally on your phone. Users are solely responsible for manually deleting local video files if needed. We do not have access to, and cannot operate on, your local device files.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your video data and user information with any third parties, including third-party AI service vendors.
The only external cloud infrastructure we use is self-owned Amazon S3 storage, which merely acts as a temporary file storage space and does not constitute data sharing with outside third service providers.
We will not disclose your personal data to external organizations unless required by mandatory legal provisions or official government orders.
We adopt industry-standard encryption and security technologies to protect user data during transmission and server storage. We strictly control internal data access permissions to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, tampering, and loss of user data.
You have the right to access, confirm, and require the deletion of your server-stored video data. You can stop uploading videos and stop using the service at any time. All local video files are under your full control and management rights.
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy irregularly. The updated policy will be displayed in the App with the latest effective date. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
